Committees

Duties of the Membership Chair:  The Membership Chair will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of memberships and will solicit for new members.

Duties of the Sponsorship Chair:  Responsible for establishing and maintaining corporate sponsorships including relationships.   The Chair is to secure commitment,  receive payment, and purchase and display sponsorship banners. They will work with sports program coordinators and any special event committees to ensure maximized profit for the benefit of the athletes and athletic programs.

Duties of the Social Media/Community Outreach Chair:  The Social Media Chair will have the responsibility for gathering, preparing and distributing publicity of the program activities to local news media, social media sites and for maintenance of booster websites.

Duties of the Newsletter Chair:  Responsible for requesting and collecting team and booster news items and then compiling and publishing the monthly newsletter.

Duties of the Team/Parent Liaison Chair: Responsible for collecting the names of team parents for each sport and forwarding to volunteer coordinator.  The team/parent liaison coordinator is the point of contact for parents and coaches and helps to ensure all teams are informed of BWABC events and available team support.

Duties of the Sports Program Chair:  The Sports Program Chair will be responsible for coordinating the publication of seasonal sports programs. This includes the collection of photos, rosters, coaches, shout outs as well as coordination with the design team.

Duties of the Future Falcons Chair:  The Future Falcons Chair will be responsible for coordinating the promotion of Briar Woods Athletics with Eagle Ridge Middle School across all sports. This includes partnering with the coaches, team parents, the Eagle Ridge PTA and the BWABC Board on each event. The goal is for each sport to host Eagle Ridge Middle School student athletes so they can prepare for sports at Briar Woods.
